This exercise extends the simple “snap it” technique to include the partner pass. Two players act at a distance, throw the ball to each other and catch it with their rackets. There is no net in the way – deliberately to make it easier for beginners to get started.
Ideal for both children and adults in the first few lessons, this method promotes a feel for the ball, coordination and the first playful sequences with a racket. The net can be added later or simulated at first.
