In this exercises players are at the net holding the racquet from the racquet head as if it were a steering wheel. Their job is to block the incoming balls. By doing this they will learn that volleys are blocked and that the contact point is in front of the body.

Bambinis – Random Volleys with Partner Tossing

Two players stand at the net in ready position. Their partners stand on the other side of the net without racquets. They will toss a ball underhanded to the players at the net either to the forehand or to the backhand. The net players have to hit the ball back with control.
