Movement Drill – Same Distance to the Bounce

Tennis Gator On-Court Movement and Footwork

A nice exercise to work on your adjustment skills is to rally and try to hit the ball at the same distance to the bounce every time. That is, if the ball is short move forwards and if it is deep move backwards. Constantly adjust! This will not only improve your footwork but also your perception.
